  • DeepStore Document Storage at Winsford Salt Mines (6th October 2005)
    Aslib members are offered the opportunity to visit DeepStore's unique document and archive storage facility underground at Winsford Rock Salt Mine in Cheshire.

    A meeting led by Steve Wood of Liverpool John Moores University on 6th October 2004 at John Moores University, Liverpool.


  • Knowledge Management: Practical Projects (16th June 2004)
    Topics covered include: Critical Success Factors for KM – An Overview (Yusra Mouzughui, Liverpool John Moores University), Knowledge Management in the NHS (Jim Hughes, Cheshire and Merseyside Strategic Health Authority), Knowledge Preservation Programme & Knowledge Packages (Robert Workman, BNFL), Management and control of KM at OfGem and lessons learned (Paul Reynolds, OfGem).

  • Aslib Northern Branch AGM (12th May 2004)
    Speakers included Guy Johnson of TFPL and Jean Beck of Belle Associates.

  • Visit to British Library Document Supply Centre (1st April 2004)
    The event allowed people to see how BLDSC works, learn about new services and developments, and talk to key BL staff.
